Alongside the West Austin Chamber of Commerce, local partners and key stakeholders, AEC unveiled the cutting-edge free standing earlier this summer. Featuring comprehensive services including CT imaging, full-service labs, board-certified emergency room physicians and more, the ER is now open, located at 10407 Jollyville Road, Austin, Texas 78759. The Austin Police Department was on sight during the event to welcome the ER to the community and present an award for the location as a certified Safe Space for the LGTBQ community.
Dr. Singh, MD, CEO of AEC, said, “We are pleased to announce the opening of our seventh location in Austin. The Arboretum location will expand our mission of providing top-class patient-centered emergency care to our local community.”
Founded by four board-certified emergency medicine physicians, Austin Emergency Center (AEC) is the first locally owned, independently run Emergency Room in Austin and stands as the founder of the first freestanding ERs in Central and South Austin. With a team of more than 50 partners and staff emergency physicians, AEC strives to provide exceptional emergency care throughout Central Texas without a wait. With the latest addition in the Arboretum, AEC now operates seven locations throughout the Austin area. AEC’s rapid expansion stands as a testament to their dedication to the community.
Austin Emergency Center at Arboretum is a freestanding Emergency Room. Certified by the state, the Emergency Room has all of the same diagnostic capabilities excepted with an Emergency Room (24/7 board certified doctors, CT scanners, X-ray, onsite labs, etc.) without the wait and hassles associated with a big hospital. The company has locations in Pflugerville, Anderson Mill, Mueller, Far West, South Lamar, Riverside, and now the Arboretum.
